About The Role…
Due to growth, we are looking for Lining Engineers to join our growing teams in the Midlands! At Ipsum, our vision is to be the leading customer service-focused provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions, operating on both public and private networks.
As a Lining Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving drainage systems, ensuring the efficient operation of essential services for our communities.

As a Lining Engineer you will…
- Carrying out patching work on drainage systems using RSM Sewertronics UV system.
- Assessing pipe conditions and analyzing results to determine appropriate repair methods.
- Producing high-quality reports detailing work carried out and recommendations.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaising with clients and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
About You…
This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a full UK driving licence and certifications in high-pressure jetting's and confined space entry. You will be a problem solver with fantastic attention to detail and be able to work part of a team! This role does have some weekend and night work which will mean you’re able to work on flexible shifts! This role is ideal for someone with Utilities or Drainage experience with a full UK driving licence and who is self motivated! Ideally you would have previous experience in working on a patching rig, using a lining kit and cutting equipment. NRSWA Streetworks is required for the role along cards such as Water Hygiene and Banksperson training. However candidates who are keen to learn will also be considered for this role
