Lining Operative

Sapphire Utility Solutions are seeking a Lining Operative to join the team and to grow and progress their career in the utilities sector working for a growing company.

Location: Bradford
Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
Salary: DOE

Responsibilities

  • Working on the back of cutting unit assisting and learning how to use and maintain the cutting unit
  • Working with patching and lining teams to pick up various repair methods so they can move around the teams and eventually run a van across all contracts (Training will be provided)
  • Setting up traffic management (Training will be provided)
  • Confined spaces entry (Training will be provided)
  • Risk assessments and updating work packs
  • The operative will be expected to be flexible picking up overtime if required and the occasional weekend

Experience and Qualifications

  • To be flexible in their working approach as on occasion may need to work overtime such as at weekends
  • Ability to work in all weathers
  • To be able to cover long distances by foot
  • The desire to progress within the company
  • Knowledge of utilities and traffic management (not essential)
