What We Do

At My Content Pal (MCP), we help B2B founders and marketing leaders turn hard-won experience into posts that drive leads.

We partner with seven and eight-figure founders to build content engines that attract clients, investors, and opportunities.

We’re looking for a contractor to help with increased workload with the aim of transitioning into a full-time position.

You will start with few clients and can build up to 30-40 hours per week.

Outcomes & Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients renew their contracts every month by delivering outstanding work that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Find original, high-signal content ideas tailored to each client’s brand, audience, and goals (not just recycled trends).
  • Produce polished, high-performing posts that flow naturally, engage readers, and position founders as thought leaders in their category.
  • Provide clear, creative direction to our design team for carousels, infographics, and cheatsheets that enhance readability and retention.
  • Maintain a 2-week content runway across all clients by planning, drafting, and delivering content ahead of schedule.
  • Review post metrics biweekly to identify trends, analyze performance, and evolve strategy based on what’s working.
  • Treat every account like it’s your own… communicate proactively, take initiative, and anticipate needs before they’re asked.
  • You don’t just “do your part”, you take full responsibility for the result. You see gaps and fill them. You ask better questions, look beyond your to-do list, and care deeply about the client’s success.
  • You care about details most people never notice. Rhythm. Clarity. Cadence. You read great writing for fun, study patterns that perform, and constantly raise your own bar. You’d rather rewrite a line 10 times than publish something average.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Non-negotiable values

1/ Own the Outcome

We don’t just complete tasks, we take responsibility for results. That means questioning whether “good enough” really is, chasing the deeper insight, and stepping outside our scope when needed. If there’s a gap, we fill it. If something’s broken, we fix it. Owning the outcome means putting results over ego, curiosity over comfort, and progress over perfection.

2/ Long-Term Games with Long-Term People

We hire for potential and invest in it. If you’re the kind of person who wants to grow, compound skills, and build something meaningful with the same team, you’ll thrive here. But this value doesn’t stop at our walls. We want people who care deeply about seeing clients win... who take pride in watching their content drive real results, and who get genuine fulfillment from helping founders grow. We’re in it for the long haul, and we expect the same from you.

3/ Commercial Creativity

We want ideas that make people stop and take action. The best creative work isn’t just beautiful / fun, it’s effective. We hire writers who think like strategists: imaginative enough to stand out, sharp enough to move the KPIs that matter.

Time & Commitments

You will start with few clients and can build up to 30-40 hours per week.

You’ll work asynchronously most of the time, but should be available for Slack communication and client/team touchpoints between 9 AM–6 PM (GMT).

You’re trusted to manage your own schedule, protect deep-work blocks, and deliver ahead of deadlines.

Compensation

  • Competitive monthly salary based on experience and portfolio quality.
  • Opportunity for role growth.
  • We reward initiative, not tenure — if you elevate the work and drive positive business outcomes, we’ll elevate you.
