Re:link, Linklaters’ platform for contract lawyers, is looking for an experienced financial restructuring and insolvency lawyer to support high-quality, flexible legal work with leading clients.
As a Re:link consultant, you will advise on a broad range of financial restructuring and insolvency matters which may include:
- Cross-border insolvencies
- Contingency planning and distress situations
- Debt refinancing and liability management
- Security enforcement and creditor strategy
- Formal insolvency process and related documentation
- Stakeholder negotiations involving lenders, sponsors, companies and office-holders
You will work on complex and often fast-moving matters, supporting clients through distressed and special situations with commercial, practical advice.
We are looking for lawyers with UK experience, ideally gained in top-tier law firms or in-house, who can demonstrate:
- Strong experience in financial restructuring and insolvency law
- The ability to manage matters independently
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial judgement and pragmatic approach
- Experience advising on cross-border matters, special situations, or finance-related restructurings would be particularly valuable

We welcome applications from individuals with previous consulting experience, as well as those interested in making the transition to consulting. In this role, you will work closely with leading clients and collaborate with relevant Linklaters practice groups, gaining exposure to a broad range of complex and high-value legal work.
