About the Position:
We are on the hunt for a self-motivated and independent Systems Administrator to become an integral part of our IT team. The ideal candidate should have an affinity for problem-solving and a knack for working autonomously with minimal supervision.
As a Systems Administrator, your core responsibilities will be to maintain, support, and ensure the smooth operation of our company's server infrastructure and associated systems. Your typical tasks will include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Installing operating systems
- Configuring servers
- Providing consistent and reliable maintenance support
One key aspect of this role is the ability to work proactively and independently to resolve issues, demonstrating efficiency and resourcefulness. While we value a self-starter attitude, we also recognize the importance of knowing when to seek help to prevent excessive delays in issue resolution.
Your role will also involve addressing and resolving issues flagged by our support staff, requiring strong collaborative skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Thus, a candidate with a flexible schedule who can adapt to shifting priorities would be preferred.
We understand that there may be times when extra effort is required to resolve any outstanding issues. While these scenarios are not an everyday occurrence, we expect a commitment to ensure consistent progress and operational efficiency. In return, we value and reward our employees who show initiative, exceed expectations, and truly excel in their roles.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
