Pricing Manager

Location: Leeds, LS12 2TU (Hybrid, 3 days per week on-site)

About the Role

Farnell, an Avnet company, is a global high-service distributor of technology products, services and solutions for electronic system design, maintenance and repair. We're looking for a commercially minded List Pricing Manager to join our Leeds-based team and play a key role in shaping pricing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability and competitive market positioning.

This is an exciting time to join. Our pricing function is evolving, creating opportunities to influence change, improve capabilities and help shape the future direction of pricing across the business. Working closely with Product Management, Supplier Management and regional pricing teams, you'll use data, market insight and commercial expertise to support strategic decision-making on a global scale.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement global list pricing strategies that support revenue, margin and growth objectives.
  • Partner with Product and Supplier Management teams to optimise pricing across product portfolios.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviours to identify pricing opportunities.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations that support commercial decision-making.
  • Monitor pricing performance and identify initiatives to improve profitability and price realisation.
  • Collaborate with regional pricing teams to drive alignment, consistency and best practice globally.
  • Support the development of pricing tools, analytics and automation capabilities.
  • Contribute to pricing transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent pricing in supplier discussions and strategic business reviews.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in Pricing, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Management, Product Management or a related commercial discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing strategy and margin management.
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to influence business decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable leader with proven leadership skills.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with large datasets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working across multiple business functions within a commercial environment.

  • Knowledge of pricing optimisation methodologies and pricing tools.
  • Experience with Power BI, ERP systems or commercial analytics platforms.
  • Exposure to global or multinational organisations.
