We're looking for a Lithene Day Technician to join our manufacturing team in Stallingborough. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a leading global chemicals business, working as part of a close-knit team responsible for safely producing high-quality products that support customers around the world.
About the Role
As a Lithene Plant Technician, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our Lithene plant. You'll be responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Working as part of a team, you'll operate process equipment, support plant operations, maintain housekeeping standards, and contribute to continuous improvement activities across the site.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating plant and process equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with all Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) procedures.
- Carrying out routine DSEAR checks and safety inspections.
- Monitoring plant performance and operating within defined process parameters.
- Offloading raw materials and packing finished products.
- Undertaking HP jetting activities as required.
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across operational areas.
- Providing cover across all Lithene plant operations when required.
- Supporting a culture of teamwork, communication, accountability, and high performance.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards within a manufacturing environment.
- Flexible approach with the ability to support different operational activities across the site.
- Strong team-working and communication skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience within the chemical, process manufacturing, or heavy industrial sector.
- Around 5 years' experience working within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Process Safety principles.
- HP jetting capability.
- Experience of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques, including Kaizen and 5S.
