Company Description
Easyforms Ltd is a long-established business printing specialist serving trade customers across the UK and internationally from its base near Bath. Since 1988, the company has grown its team, facilities, and product range to deliver end-to-end services, from proofing to printing and storage. Easyforms produces business forms, labels, books and pads, integrated cards, and other printed materials using in-house specialist presses operated by a skilled team of over 30 staff.
Dedicated engineers maintain all machinery to ensure reliable, on-time delivery, while the Origination Department manages design, artwork, reprographics, setting, proofing, and IT support. Customer enquiries and accounts are handled by an efficient office team, providing a professional and supportive environment for both clients and employees.
Role Description
The Litho Printer will operate and maintain lithographic printing presses to produce high-quality business print products in accordance with job specifications and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up presses, monitoring print runs, performing quality checks, adjusting settings to maintain color and registration accuracy, and completing routine cleaning and maintenance.

The role involves working closely with prepress and origination teams to interpret artwork and proofs, managing materials such as plates, inks, and paper, and ensuring that production schedules and deadlines are met. The Litho Printer is expected to follow safety procedures, maintain accurate production records, and contribute to continuous improvement of printing processes.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Midsomer Norton.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating lithographic printing presses in a commercial or trade print environment.
- Strong understanding of print production processes, including plate making, ink and color management, registration, and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets, artwork, and proofs, with a keen eye for detail and print quality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and practical skills for routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Awareness of health and safety practices in a print factory setting, including safe handling of materials and equipment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production, origination, and office teams.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and quality standards; formal print or engineering training is an advantage.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time on-site in Midsomer Norton; flexibility for shift work or overtime when required.
