Kennedys is seeking a proactive, detail-focused Litigation Assistant
Kennedys is seeking a proactive, detail-focused Litigation Assistant to join our market-leading Manchester Casualty and Corporate Claims team. You'll support Partners and fee earners on a varied portfolio of complex liability and injury claims, including employers' liability and public liability cases. This is an opportunity to take real responsibility, develop your technical knowledge and work with leading specialists on high-value, high-profile cases.
This is a role for someone who thrives on responsibility, enjoys collaborating with leading experts, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service. You'll be proactive, detail‑driven, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients. A working understanding of coverage, sharp analytical thinking skills, and confident problem‑solving abilities are required.

Team
Our national practice handles personal injury claims from seven offices across the UK. The Manchester team is a recognised market leader - ranked top tier for defendant personal injury - and regularly instructed on complex, high‑value, and high‑profile matters.
Working alongside Partners who are widely regarded as industry leaders, you'll also gain exposure to UK cases involving cross‑border quantum issues through our international network.

What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years' employers and public liability claims experience
- Detailed knowledge around various types of Litigation
- Personal injury experience within a claimant or defendant role
- Basic policy coverage knowledge
- Ability to manage a varied caseload
- Confident client communication
