Are you looking to take the next step in your career? As our team continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious solicitor to help in promoting that growth. We are looking to appoint a solicitor with 2yr+ PQE based in our Edinburgh office.

This role will involve working closely with the Partners to continue to expand the team’s work and practice. The individual will enjoy an interesting and diverse case load, working on a range of housing and dispute resolution matters.

The team works closely with providers of social housing and the work will involve handling repossession cases, debt recovery, as well as conducting Civil Sheriff Court matters and Court of Session work and some alternate dispute resolution, with appropriate support from the wider team.

What we are looking for...

Ideally, you should have:

  • Civil litigation experience
  • Strong drafting and advocacy-ready communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver clear, commercial advice
  • Confidence working independently and supporting others in a range of disputes
  • Experience managing your own caseload
  • A collaborative approach, working within the team to support others, including trainees and paralegals
  • Ambition to build your practice and progress within a friendly, flexible firm, as the team grows
