Following a Road Traffic Accident, HF’s recoveries team are instructed by insurance companies to determine liability and then recover uninsured losses and insurer’s outlay from third parties. HF has been undertaking recoveries work for clients for a number of years and the team have a great reputation due to their specialist industry experience securing many millions of pounds per annum for clients.

HF Recoveries are recruiting for a Litigation Executive, and we can offer you a long and rewarding career in Litigation. HF Recoveries are renowned for our claimant work, but did you know we also manage defendant files too, from small claims track, to fast track, and onto Intermediate track up to high value multi track work.
We are looking for talented people to help our impressive list of client insurers. If you are confident, you can support our Clients and their Policyholders through the litigation process to recover their outstanding outlay and uninsured losses, then we’d like to hear from you.
We can help you kick start your legal career by training you in all aspects of RTA Recoveries litigation, and if you have legal experience, we can help you to develop and hone your Litigation expertise. No matter what stage your career is at, we can offer you outstanding opportunities and training.

No day is the same in HF Recoveries, our Litigation Executives are legal experts, who have a keen sense of commercial awareness, present the facts, the law, and have a track record of successfully negotiating great outcomes for our Clients and Policyholders, in a reasoned and persuasive manner.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Drafting court documents, proceedings and applications
- Manage a litigated caseload
- Obtain and draft witness statements
- Review third party evidence
- Instruct Counsel
- Manage client expectations
- Resolution of liability disputes
- Resolution of Quantum disputes
- Issuing County Court proceedings
- Adhere to Court directions and deadlines
- Take initiative to suggest ideas for improvements and understand the value of different working ideas
- Work to set priorities, create clear plans and manage all work to meet the needs of the client
What do I need?
- Previous experience within a similar role handling a case load. - Desirable
- A knowledge or experience of RTA liability - Desirable
- Previous experience working within the insurance sector – Desirable
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment. - Desirable
- Ability to interpret and input data accurately and efficiently. – Essential
- Ability to demonstrate initiative. – Essential
- Professional and confident telephone manner – Essential
