The firm is committed to providing swift, effective legal support.

Role Description

The Litigation Legal Assistant will support solicitors in the day-to-day management of personal injury and civil litigation files, helping to ensure cases progress efficiently and accurately.

This full-time, on-site role is based in Bolton and involves preparing and organising legal documents, drafting correspondence, and maintaining orderly case files.

The role includes managing diaries and court calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating hearings and meetings.

The Litigation Legal Assistant will communicate with clients, experts, and third parties, gather and collate evidence, and assist with litigation procedures.

The position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to organisation skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law and an understanding of civil litigation and personal injury procedures.
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, formatting, and filing court documents and correspondence.
  • Experience in Legal Assistance, such as supporting solicitors with case management, client communication, and evidence gathering.
  • Competence in diary management, scheduling hearings, and organising case files.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
  • High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a legal team and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Previous experience in a litigation setting is beneficial; relevant legal or administrative qualifications are an advantage.
