Litigation Paralegal

Location: Chester
Position: Full-time | Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Chester. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced litigators on a broad range of complex and high-quality disputes, making it ideal for someone looking to further develop their career in litigation.

The Role

Working as part of a busy and supportive Dispute Resolution team, you'll provide assistance on a varied caseload while delivering a high standard of client service. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting fee earners with a range of litigation matters from inception through to conclusion.
  • Preparing court documents, witness bundles, and legal correspondence.
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties.
  • Managing diaries, deadlines, and case progression.
  • Attending client meetings, mediations, and court hearings where required.
  • Supporting file management and ensuring compliance with court procedures and internal processes.
  • Handling client enquiries and maintaining regular communication throughout matters.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A minimum of one year's experience within a litigation or dispute resolution team.
  • Experience assisting with civil or commercial litigation matters.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using legal case management systems is advantageous.
