Role: Paralegal - Financial Mis-selling
Location: Manchester
Salary: up to £26,000
A well-established and growing law firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its litigation team. The firm handles a varied caseload of consumer and commercial disputes and is looking for a motivated individual who is comfortable managing a busy workload, working closely with senior fee earners and progressing matters from initial assessment through to resolution.
The Role
You will assist with a range of litigation matters and be responsible for tasks including:
- Reviewing new claims and carrying out initial legal research
- Drafting correspondence, witness statements, applications and other legal documents
- Communicating with clients, solicitors, Counsel and third parties
- Managing case files, deadlines, hearings and key documentation
- Assisting with settlement discussions and dispute resolution
- Preparing matters for hearings and trial
- Maintaining accurate records and updating the firm's case management system
- Supporting solicitors and senior team members with the progression of claims

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- A law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Previous experience working as a paralegal or within a legal claims environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Good Microsoft Office and general IT skills
- A professional, client-focused approach

On Offer
- Salary up to £26,000 per annum, depending on experience
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
- Monday to Friday office-based working
- Manchester city-centre location
