Litigation Paralegal (High Performance Role)
Holborn, London (Hybrid, 3 days a week from our dog friendly offices and 2 days wfh)
£30,000 + performance bonus
Fortune Law is a boutique law firm based in Holborn, London. We specialise in advising founders and entrepreneurs on a wide range of business law issues including the resolution of disputes.
We:

Our team punches above its weight and you will regularly find yourself on the other side of the table with City law firms.
This role is designed for a specific type of person
We are looking for someone who:
- has excellent academics, oral and written English
- thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- enjoys being close to the work and close to decision-making
- takes ownership early and proactively drives things forward
If you prefer a slower paced, heavily structured or purely supportive role – this will not be the right fit.
The Role
This is a hands-on, front-line role working directly with the Managing Director. You will:

- act as a key point of contact for clients
- support live transactions and disputes
- drafting and reviewing documents, court forms, applications and letters of advice
- keep matters moving and ensure nothing stalls
You are not here to “assist” – you are here to both contribute and take ownership.

What You’ll Be Doing
Client & Matter Management
- Be responsive, professional and clear with clients
- Keep clients and internal team updated
- Manage expectations and timelines
- Client onboarding

Drafting & Legal Work
- Draft settlement agreements, letters of advice, instructions to Counsel, witness statements, court bundles and claim forms and correspondence with precise attention to detail and adherence to firm standards.
- Review complex documents to begin advising on terms
- Assist on due diligence processes
- Structure and summarise information clearly
Driving Work Forward
- Track deadlines and next steps
- Organise and maintain electronic case files
- Follow up on outstanding actions
- Ensure nothing sits still
What We’re Looking For
Non-negotiable
- SQE 1 & 2 completed
- 12+ months litigation paralegal experience (England & Wales)
- Strong academics
- Excellent written and spoken English
