About Johnson Law Group

Johnson Law Group (JLG) is an international claimant litigation law firm with offices in Manchester, London, Houston, Manhattan, and Chicago.

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic paralegal to join our growing team of fee earners in our Manchester office.

As a firm, JLG acts for consumers and businesses that have been “wronged” in some way by large corporations. We specialise in bringing large group actions against those corporations and driving high volumes of claims for financial mis-selling.

We always represent Claimants and with our U.S. roots, we bring our own style of group and volume litigation to the UK legal market.

Successful candidates will assist in our busy and ever-growing financial mis-selling team, as well as the day-to-day business of handling client inquiries and advising on the legal processes our clients are involved in.

Candidates must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, display strong organisational skills, and keep a professional appearance. Candidates must also thrive under pressure when communicating with clients and have an ability to calmly articulate areas of discussion and the missions of Johnson Law Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
