Home – Litigation Solicitor (4 Years PQE+)

We are a well-established and progressive law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. Our litigation department continues to grow, and we are now seeking a 4-year PQE Solicitor to join the team at our Wickford office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to develop and enhance their skills within our expanding firm and litigation team.

The Role

You will work closely with and directly support Jennifer Hardy, Head of Litigation and Partner, gaining hands-on experience across a varied and high-quality caseload.

This role is ideally suited to someone keen to accelerate their development, with direct exposure to complex matters and close partner-level supervision.

The Caseload Is Expected To Include

  • Property litigation
  • Contractual and commercial disputes
  • Debt recovery matters
  • Landlord and tenant disputes
  • Boundary and neighbour disputes
  • Professional negligence claims
  • Partnership and shareholder disputes
  • Contentious probate matters
  • General civil litigation
  • Alternative dispute resolution and mediation

Key Requirements

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic solicitor who is committed to developing their litigation career.

You Will Ideally Have

  • 4 years’ PQE in litigation
  • A solid grounding in civil procedure and dispute resolution
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • The ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
