Role
As a Litigation Solicitor, you will take responsibility for managing and progressing a varied caseload while working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and progressing your own litigation caseload from instruction through to resolution.
- Analysing matters and providing clear, practical, and commercially focused advice to clients.
- Working across a variety of disputes, including debt recovery, contract, commercial, insolvency, landlord and tenant, and employment matters.
- Managing deadlines effectively and ensuring matters progress efficiently and in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, colleagues, and other parties throughout each matter.
- Working independently while having the confidence to seek guidance and collaborate with colleagues where appropriate.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard and in accordance with regulatory and professional obligations.
- Contributing to the continued growth and development of the litigation practice and the wider firm.

About You
We are looking for a solicitor who combines strong technical ability with excellent organisation, communication, and commercial awareness.
You will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of two years’ PQE, ideally with experience in civil and/or commercial litigation.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other professionals.
- Have experience managing your own caseload and competing priorities.
- Understand the importance of deadlines and be able to prioritise your workload effectively to ensure they are met calmly and efficiently.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and the tenacity to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Be comfortable analysing complex matters and identifying the key legal and commercial issues.
- Be confident working independently while recognising when collaboration or additional guidance would benefit a matter.
- Be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, spending time in the office while also working effectively from home when appropriate.
- Understand that everyone contributes to the success of the firm and be motivated to work towards business, financial, team, and personal objectives.
