Litigation Solicitor – Fixed-Term Contract
Commercial Litigation & International Arbitration
Location: Central London
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract
Salary: Competitive
A highly regarded specialist London disputes firm is looking to appoint an experienced Litigation Solicitor on a fixed-term contract to join its established Commercial Litigation & International Arbitration practice.
The firm has a strong reputation for handling complex, high-value and cross-border disputes, acting for an international client base that includes corporates, financial institutions, high-net-worth individuals and overseas clients.
The Role
The successful solicitor will join a busy disputes team and work closely with experienced Partners across a range of ongoing contentious matters. The role will include:
- High-value commercial litigation, including English High Court proceedings.
- International arbitration and cross-border disputes.
- Complex contractual and corporate disputes.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, instructions to counsel and other litigation documents.
- Managing disclosure, evidence and key procedural deadlines.
- Conducting detailed legal research and preparing advice.
- Assisting with interim applications, jurisdictional issues and enforcement matters.
- Liaising directly with clients, counsel, experts and overseas lawyers.
- Taking responsibility for matters and helping drive cases through to resolution.

About You
The firm is looking for an experienced qualified solicitor who can quickly integrate into the team and provide immediate support across an active caseload. Ideally, you will have:
- Strong Commercial Litigation / Dispute Resolution experience.
- Experience handling complex and high-value contentious matters.
- Good knowledge of High Court litigation and procedure.
- Excellent drafting, research and case-management skills.
- The ability to manage matters independently with appropriate Partner supervision.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Experience working within a busy disputes practice.
- International Arbitration and/or cross-border disputes experience would be advantageous, although strong Commercial Litigation experience is the priority.
- Availability to start at relatively short notice would be beneficial.
