Our client, a boutique law firm, provides a high level of service throughout their practice, which is consistently reflected in their Google reviews. With their head office in central Birmingham as well as others across the country, our client is a leading solicitor firm offering expert advice across a wide range of legal fields.
About the Role
A top provincial law firm with over 12 offices is seeking a Litigation Solicitor with 10 years+ PQE to join their Civil & Commercial Litigation team.
This position is agile working and can be based at any of their offices in the Midlands, London or Hertfordshire.
Essential Experience
- Experience as a Litigation Solicitor in the UK with 10 years+ PQE
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial and general civil litigation matters, including shareholder and company disputes, debt recovery, contract disputes, PI, negligence, and property litigation.
- Draft, prepare and organise witness statements, pleadings and trial bundles.
- Conduct advocacy in the County Court and High Court where appropriate.
- Liaise with Counsel and manage external legal resources effectively.
- Undertake costs management, budgeting and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
- Apply a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and related procedural requirements.
- Achieve billing, time recording and fee-earning targets, while supporting the firm’s credit control processes.
- Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide strong advocacy in both County Court and High Court proceedings.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures.

- Litigation Solicitor - admitted in England & Wales 10 +years PQE
- Strong advocacy experience
