NQ–2 PQE Litigation Solicitor

Location: Bromsgrove
Level: Newly Qualified – 2 Years PQE
Department: Litigation / Dispute Resolution
Working Pattern: Full-time

We are seeking a Newly Qualified to 2 PQE Civil Litigation Solicitor to join a friendly and established legal practice in Worcestershire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive team, with significant client contact and the opportunity to take ownership of their own caseload. The successful candidate will have exposure to a broad range of contentious matters and will be expected to provide clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be newly qualified or have up to 2 years' PQE within litigation or a related contentious practice area;
  • Have experience or a strong interest in dealing with a broad range of contentious matters, including civil litigation, employment matters and dispute resolution;
  • Be confident working closely with clients in a highly client-facing role, building strong and professional relationships;
  • Demonstrate a professional, approachable, friendly and reassuring manner when dealing with clients;
  • Be capable of managing their own caseload, taking responsibility for matters from inception through to resolution;
  • Be organised and able to prioritise competing demands, work efficiently and meet tight deadlines;
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain legal issues clearly and effectively to clients;
  • Be a strong team player who is willing to support colleagues and contribute positively to the wider team;
  • Demonstrate sound commercial awareness and practical problem-solving skills;
  • Be comfortable working within established compliance procedures, internal policies and systems;
  • Have a proactive and positive approach to their work, with a genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of client service.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of contentious matters while developing their technical and client-management skills. You will have responsibility for progressing your own matters, with appropriate support from more senior colleagues, and will be expected to manage your workload effectively while maintaining high standards of client care and professional conduct.
