Litigation Solicitor – West Midlands
An established and supportive law firm in Warwickshire is looking to recruit an experienced Litigation Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join its successful team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Litigation Solicitor seeking a varied and interesting caseload, genuine responsibility, and the opportunity to develop their career within a collaborative and client-focused environment.
The Role:
- Handling a broad and varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Advising on contractual and debt disputes, property and boundary disputes, professional negligence, company and partnership disputes, and contested probate matters.
- Managing matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and other legal documentation.
- Representing clients at court and conducting settlement negotiations.
- Managing your own caseload while maintaining high standards of client care and file management.
- Providing clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice to clients.
- Utilising ADR, mediation, and negotiation wherever appropriate to achieve effective resolutions.
- Working closely with colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of the wider department.

The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE.
- Strong experience within civil and/or commercial litigation.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and client care abilities.
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
- Confident managing your own caseload and working with minimal supervision.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a busy environment.
- A proactive approach to business development would be advantageous.
