Litigation Solicitor | 2+ Years PQE

Gloucester | Full-Time | Hybrid | £35-45K DOE

GMP Recruitment Agency Limited are proud to be supporting a well-established and highly respected Gloucestershire law firm, in the recruitment of an ambitious and commercially minded Litigation Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE to join their expanding Litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to take greater ownership of their caseload while continuing to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking and client-focused firm.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues across the wider team, handling a varied caseload of contentious matters while playing an active role in business development, networking and client relationship management.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload from initial instruction through to conclusion, providing high-quality, commercially focused advice to a diverse client base.

Your caseload will include a broad range of contentious matters, including:

  • Residential and commercial Landlord & Tenant disputes
  • Contentious Probate
  • Contract disputes
  • Property disputes
  • TOLATA claims
  • Company and shareholder disputes
  • Employment disputes – desirable but not essential

You will have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, build strong client relationships and take an active role in the continued growth of the Litigation team.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ PQE within Litigation
  • Experience managing a varied contentious caseload
  • Strong experience across a number of the areas listed above
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A commercially minded and pragmatic approach to client matters
  • The confidence to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A genuine interest in business development and building client relationships
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a growing team

Experience in Employment disputes would be advantageous but is not essential.

You will benefit from working alongside experienced legal professionals within a firm that values quality, collaboration and long-term client relationships.
