Ever wondered who makes the world's biggest shows sound incredible? That could be you.

For over 50 years, Britannia Row Productions has supplied world-class audio equipment and technicians to global tours, major sporting events and live productions. Now part of the Clair Global Group we're growing fast and working at the very top of the live events industry.

WHY THIS APPRENTICESHIP?

This isn't just a job. It's two years of professional training at one of the world's leading live sound companies. You'll learn from people who've delivered audio for major tours, festivals and international events, and you'll get hands-on with the kit that makes live events sound extraordinary.

Our previous apprentices have worked on shows for Dua Lipa, Foo Fighters, Muse, Gracie Abrams, Olivia Dean and Calvin Harris. They've also supported events such as The BRIT Awards, the Capital Summer Ball, the Commonwealth Games, and FA fixtures at Wembley.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Working in our state-of-the-art warehouse, surrounded by the latest audio technology
  • Preparing, testing and maintaining professional audio equipment
  • Rotating through our specialist departments: Technical, Speakers & Rigging, Comms & Data, RF & Mics, Cables & Mains, Prep & De-prep, and Workshop
  • Working alongside experienced technicians and freelance sound engineers
  • Learning to load and unload equipment safely and efficiently
  • Helping keep the warehouse safe, tidy and well organised

This is a physically active role. Regular heavy lifting and manual handling are a core part of the job.

How You'll Learn

  • 15% structured training: Live Sound Fundamentals (LSF) and Live Sound Intermediate (LSI), delivered online and in the classroom by our own expert tutors
  • 85% on the job: You'll put your skills into practice every day, guided by professional engineers and technicians
  • Events and touring: As your skills grow, you could earn a place on live event and touring crews
  • Ongoing support: Regular feedback, mentoring and skills assessments will track your progress

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This isn't a government scheme. It's our own programme, designed and delivered by industry experts. It's fast-paced and demanding, it expects you to drive your own learning, and it gives you exposure to local and international projects across the Clair Global network.

WHERE IT CAN TAKE YOU

This programme is for people who love the technical side of audio and want to master it. It isn't a shortcut to becoming a Front of House or Monitor Engineer. Instead, it builds the technical skills that careers in live sound are built on. Our graduating apprentices consistently move into key technician roles, and many go on to become System Technicians, RF Technicians and Front of House Support Technicians.

While the programme is centred on live audio, there may also be opportunities to progress into our Business & Warehouse Operations, playing your part in delivering world-class productions.

What We Expect From You

You'll build the professional habits the live events industry values most:

  • Teamwork: Work well with the people around you
  • Reliability: Be on time, every time
  • Communication: Be clear and professional
  • Problem-solving: Take on challenges with a proactive attitude
  • Attention to detail: Keep your standards high
  • Adaptability: Stay flexible in a fast-moving environment
  • Safety: Follow safety procedures and look out for others

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You're passionate about sound and technology, and you're always keen to learn more. You'll also be:

  • Hard working and committed, with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Engaging team players with strong communication skills.
  • Passionate about detail-oriented technical work.
  • Able to demonstrate previous experience in live events (essential).
  • Minimum A Levels or BTEC Level 3 in Audio Technology, Electronics, Mathematics, IT, Physics, or equivalent (a degree is desirable).
  • Hold Dante Certification Level 1 and Level 2 (proof required on application).
