Live Events Technical Project Manager

Location: London

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (DOE)

We’re working with a leading live events and production specialist looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to deliver large-scale corporate and broadcast events across London and beyond.

This is a senior, client-facing role responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of live events — from concept and design through to on-site execution and post-event close.

The Role

  • Own and manage technical event delivery across multiple complex live events
  • Translate client requirements into clear technical, production, and labour plans
  • Lead on-site technical teams, vendors, and venue partners during load-in, show, and load-out
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a world-class standard
  • Act as the main client contact on-site, managing expectations and last-minute changes
  • Oversee H&S compliance (RAMS), technical standards, and operational best practice
  • Manage budgets, cost control, and post-event reconciliation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
