A rewarding Live-In Care opportunity with a lovely client

We are looking for an experienced Live-In Care Professional to support a lovely lady in her late 80s in her own home in Cheshunt.

Our client is living with Alzheimer’s, high blood pressure and Type 2 diabetes. She remains fairly independent and mobile, but benefits from companionship, gentle prompting, some light personal care and support around the home.

She enjoys her garden, baking, watching the news and having a good chat. She has settled very well into having a Live-In Care Professional and is a lovely, engaging client.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and conversation
  • Supporting her daily routine
  • Gentle prompting and guidance
  • Light personal care
  • Taking and recording daily blood pressure readings
  • Meal preparation and light household tasks
  • Encouraging independence and activities she enjoys

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
