We are committed to changing the face of ageing by delivering quality care to our clients and top-class education to our Live-in Care Assistants.Job DescriptionAs a Live-In Carer, you will support clients with daily living, promote independence, and help them remain safe, comfortable, and happy at home. This role is ideal for someone with experience in home care, domiciliary care, assisted living, or nursing environments, who is passionate about making a meaningful difference.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and continence careSupport mobility, transfers, and safe movement within the homePrepare meals and support with nutrition and hydrationSupport with medication in line with care plans and trainingOffer companionship and emotional supportEncourage social interaction and meaningful activitiesAssist clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s using person-centred approachesCarry out light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean homeMonitor wellbeing and report any changes to the care teamMaintain accurate care recordsQualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in care, home care, senior care, or nursing (preferred but not essential)A kind, patient, and compassionate natureGood communication skillsUnderstanding of first aid and emergency procedures (training provided)Relevant training or qualifications (e.g. dementia care) is an advantageA UK driving license is beneficial but not essentialRight to work in the UKWorking Pattern: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks offAdditional InformationWhat We Offer£135.00 Day / £945.00 Week.35p per mile for business mileage28 days’ holiday (pro rata)Workplace pensionStaff discounts24/7 supportFully funded training and ongoing developmentWhy Join Home Instead?Home Instead is a trusted, award-winning global home care provider, known for delivering high-quality care with respect, empathy, and professionalism.Join us and help people live well at home — with dignity, independence, and joy.Apply today and one of our friendly team members will be in touch for an informal chat.
