Job Description

Live In Care Assistant - Luton - Must be on DBS Update Service - Early Aug Start

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Live-in-Care Professional to provide full-time support and companionship for the elderly. You will live with the client in their home and help them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort in their daily life.

Pay & Benefits:

  • £800 per week
  • Paid mileage
  • Paid holidays
  • Consistent schedules with matched clients
  • Rotation - 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting mobility and medication administration
  • Preparing healthy meals and assisting with feeding if needed
  • Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Offering companionship, emotional support, and social interaction
  • Escorting to appointments or social activities (if required)
  • Monitoring health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Care/Support Worker (live-in care preferred)
  • Kind, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Right to work in the UK
