Candlelight Care are looking for a Live-In Care Coordinator to make a difference behind the scenes and help make exceptional care happen.
Full time - Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Salary - £25,818.24
Please note: For the right candidates, this role could be split into two part-time roles. Please let us know on your initial application whether you'd like full time or part time hours, as this will help us when shortlisting.
As a Live-In Care Co-ordinator, you'll play a vital role in making sure our Live-In Care service runs smoothly, efficiently and, most importantly, delivers an excellent experience for both our clients and our self-employed live-in care workers. You'll be at the heart of coordinating bookings - making sure our care workers know where they're going, clients know who is arriving and everyone has the right information at the right time. It's a role that requires excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
You won't be doing it alone. You'll be part of a supportive Office Team, working together to find solutions, overcome challenges and ensure we continue to provide a high-quality, personalised service.
This is an office-based position, with around 80% of your time focused on rostering and associated administration, including telephone, online and paper-based tasks. The remaining time will be spent supporting the wider Live-In Care service and helping with the day-to-day administration needed to keep everything running smoothly.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
