Company Description
Home Instead North Devon is looking for an ambitious, compassionate, and commercially minded Live-in Care Manager to lead the growth and delivery of our Live-in Care service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional person-centred care while also driving business development and service growth. You will play a key role in expanding our live-in care provision throughout North Devon, building strong relationships within the community, and ensuring outstanding outcomes for our clients and Care Professionals.

About the Role
Working closely with the Franchise Owners, you will be responsible for the strategic development, operational management, and quality assurance of our Live-in Care service.
You will lead client acquisition, oversee care planning and compliance, recruit and support high-quality Live-in Care Professionals, and ensure the service maintains the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines leadership, business development, client relationship management, quality assurance, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth
- Develop and grow Home Instead's Live-in Care service across North Devon.
- Increase awareness of Home Instead's services within the local community.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, community organisations, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage the client journey from initial enquiry through to consultation and conversion.

Care Quality & Compliance
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of person-centred care.
- Conduct client consultations, care planning, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Carry out quality assurance reviews and service evaluations.
- Investigate complaints and incidents, implementing improvements where required.

Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, inspire, and support the Live-in Care team.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain exceptional Live-in Care Professionals.
- Ensure safe staffing levels and effective workload management.
- Support disciplinary and employee relations processes in line with company policies.

Operational Management
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across all systems.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Managers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency support when required.
Qualifications
About You
Essential Requirements
- Experience in a management role within health and social care.
- Strong understanding of live-in care, domiciliary care, or community care services.
- Excellent knowledge of care planning, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in managing, and developing care teams.
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Must have Right to Work in the UK. We are currently unable to provide sponsorship.

Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Experience working within a CQC-regulated environment.
- Knowledge of local healthcare and community network.
