Home Instead Exeter & East Devon is looking for an ambitious and experienced Live-in Care Manager to lead, develop and grow our live-in care service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who combines a real passion for outstanding care with the confidence, energy and commercial drive to build relationships, generate opportunities and grow a successful live-in service.

You will take ownership of the live-in journey from enquiry through to consultation, matching, care delivery and reviews, while developing the referral relationships and Care Professional pipeline needed to grow the service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Growing our live-in care client base across Exeter and East Devon
  • Building strong referral relationships with hospitals, GPs, occupational therapists, solicitors, care homes and community organisations
  • Developing and converting a strong pipeline of new live-in care opportunities
  • Conducting client consultations, reviews and quality assurance visits
  • Creating and maintaining high-quality person-centred care plans
  • Recruiting, supporting and retaining excellent live-in Care Professionals
  • Carefully matching clients and Care Professionals
  • Overseeing live-in scheduling and continuity of care
  • Working closely with our Registered Manager, Scheduling and Recruitment teams
  • Monitoring growth, revenue and conversion against agreed targets
  • Maintaining excellent quality, compliance and client experience
  • Participating in the on-call rota as required

Who we’re looking for

You may already work in live-in care, home care, care management or a client-facing care role.

We are particularly interested in someone who:

  • Has experience within the care sector, ideally including live-in care
  • Holds a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
  • Understands care planning, medication, quality and compliance
  • Is confident building relationships with clients, families and professionals
  • Enjoys networking and developing new opportunities
  • Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards growth targets
  • Is organised, self-motivated and resilient
  • Has a genuine passion for helping people remain independent in their own homes
