Home Instead Exeter & East Devon is looking for an ambitious and experienced Live-in Care Manager to lead, develop and grow our live-in care service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who combines a real passion for outstanding care with the confidence, energy and commercial drive to build relationships, generate opportunities and grow a successful live-in service.
You will take ownership of the live-in journey from enquiry through to consultation, matching, care delivery and reviews, while developing the referral relationships and Care Professional pipeline needed to grow the service.
What you’ll be doing
- Growing our live-in care client base across Exeter and East Devon
- Building strong referral relationships with hospitals, GPs, occupational therapists, solicitors, care homes and community organisations
- Developing and converting a strong pipeline of new live-in care opportunities
- Conducting client consultations, reviews and quality assurance visits
- Creating and maintaining high-quality person-centred care plans
- Recruiting, supporting and retaining excellent live-in Care Professionals
- Carefully matching clients and Care Professionals
- Overseeing live-in scheduling and continuity of care
- Working closely with our Registered Manager, Scheduling and Recruitment teams
- Monitoring growth, revenue and conversion against agreed targets
- Maintaining excellent quality, compliance and client experience
- Participating in the on-call rota as required

Who we’re looking for
You may already work in live-in care, home care, care management or a client-facing care role.
We are particularly interested in someone who:
- Has experience within the care sector, ideally including live-in care
- Holds a Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
- Understands care planning, medication, quality and compliance
- Is confident building relationships with clients, families and professionals
- Enjoys networking and developing new opportunities
- Is commercially aware and comfortable working towards growth targets
- Is organised, self-motivated and resilient
- Has a genuine passion for helping people remain independent in their own homes
