Job Description
The Placement
- £130 per day
- £50 weekly food allowance
- Double pay on Bank Holidays
- Ongoing placement
- Initially 1 week in every 4, with the opportunity to increase to 2 weeks in every 4
- Handover every Monday at 4pm
- 3 hours of scheduled daily breaks, covered by our domiciliary care team

About Your Client
You'll be supporting a friendly 92-year-old gentleman living with his partner in a comfortable home in Battersea.
He enjoys companionship, regular walks and maintaining his independence wherever possible. His wife travels abroad from time to time, so you'll become an important part of his support network.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Preparing meals in line with Speech & Language Therapy (SALT) guidance
- Medication administration
- Assisting with personal care, continence care and oral hygiene
- Encouraging mobility using a walking frame
- Supporting gentle daily exercises and walks
- Accompanying to appointments
- Light housekeeping
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns

About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous live-in or complex home care experience
- Is confident supporting clients with neurological conditions
- Has excellent spoken and written English
- Is caring, patient and professional
- Is reliable, observant and proactive
- Works well independently while being part of a supportive team
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys building meaningful relationships
Start Date: 1 August 2026
Qualifications
Experience supporting clients with swallowing difficulties (SALT guidance), falls prevention or neurological conditions would be an advantage, although full handover and ongoing support will be provided.
