We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Live-in Care Professionals to join our compassionate team in South Molton.

As a Live-in Care Professional, you will reside with a client, providing continuous, one-to-one support that promotes their independence, dignity, and wellbeing. This is a highly rewarding role for individuals passionate about making a profound difference to someone's life, offering a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide truly person-centred care.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Prepare nutritious meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences, and assist with feeding where necessary.
  • Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities, fostering mental and emotional wellbeing.
  • Administer or prompt medication as prescribed, ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Undertake light household duties such as laundry, tidying, and ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, social engagements, or on outings, supporting their continued engagement with the community.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records, reporting any changes or concerns to the care management team promptly.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of professional care experience, ideally within a home care or live-in care setting.
  • Right to work in the UK and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Demonstrable reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to adapt to different client needs and home environments.
  • A genuine passion for supporting older adults and improving their quality of life.
  • (Desirable) A full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
