We are excited to be hiring staff to join our Home Instead Live-In Care Team to support a female client near the lovely town of Market Harborough.
Job Description
As a Live-In Care Professional, you’ll provide much-needed support with day to day living. Your duties may include a combination of any of the below as all our clients are different:
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting needs)
- Assisting with mobility and helping with light housekeeping tasks
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Preparing and cooking meals, and assisting with eating and drinking
- Running errands (e.g., shopping, picking up prescriptions)
About You
You need to be adaptable, happy to work independently or within a small team. With strong communication skills and good spoken English you should also be:
- Able to work on a two-week on/off schedule (longer if this is what you prefer)
- Eligible to work in the UK

Although a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work is an advantage, it is not essential.
Qualifications
Our ideal caregiver will have some Live In care experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or as a volunteer. With a passion for supporting others and pride on delivering an outstanding service. A Home Instead care professional will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful and enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
We are recruiting for Live-In Care Professionals to work on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule, though extra work to support our clients is also a possibility. Immediate starts are available. One of our clients requires a driver (car available) and she has a little dog so you must be happy to take the dog for walks too.
