Wales Based - Live-in Care Assistant
As a Live In Carer in Wales with Helping Hands, you’ll support people to stay independent in the comfort of their own homes by providing personalised one-to-one care, whilst enjoying fully covered living costs and flexible working patterns.
This is a role where relationships matter. You'll spend time getting to know the people you support, understanding what matters to them and providing consistent, personalised care that helps them stay safe, confident and connected to the life they love.
What you'll do
- Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes within Wales.
- Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and assisting customers to the toilet.
- Assist with mobility needs, helping customers remain safe and independent.
- Administer and manage medication in line with care plans.
- Prepare meals and support with light household tasks.
- Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals.
- Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.

What you'll bring
- Previous care experience, including administering medication.
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding care.
- The ability to travel across Wales to placements.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
- Confidence working independently while remaining connected to your wider team.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A desire to develop your skills and build a long-term career in care.
- Comfortable working around pets and preparing meals.
- Reliability, compassion, and the confidence to support others with dignity.
