We match Live In Caregivers with clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable personalised support.
About the Role
As a Live in Carer, your role is both purposeful and meaningful:
- You will live in with our clients, ensuring they receive compassionate, essential support while remaining in the comfort of their own home.
- Your tasks include companionship, assisting with personal care, mobility, medication management, household duties, meal preparation, and running errands like grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and friendship to clients
- Help with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Assist with mobility around the client’s home
- Oversee medication and provide basic medical support when required
- Manage household duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, and laundry
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals
- Run essential errands such as food shopping, prescription collection, or banking
- Stay within a separate accommodation provided with access to TV and WiFi
- Work a 10-hour shift per day, including a 2-hour break

Compensation & Conditions
- Pay: £130 per day for a 10-hour working shift
- Responsibilities: Must carry out live-in duties while residing with clients
- Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- DBS enhanced disclosure check
- References and a vetted interview process
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience caring for family members, volunteering, or in paid roles is essential
- Enthusiasm for supporting others and delivering exemplary service
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and professional respect are paramount
- Ability to build rapport and enjoy companionship
Access Requirements
- Must own a car, as this role requires some mobility for errands
- Must have class 1 business insurance for the vehicle
