We match Live In Caregivers with clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enable personalised support.

About the Role

As a Live in Carer, your role is both purposeful and meaningful:

  • You will live in with our clients, ensuring they receive compassionate, essential support while remaining in the comfort of their own home.
  • Your tasks include companionship, assisting with personal care, mobility, medication management, household duties, meal preparation, and running errands like grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and friendship to clients
  • Help with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
  • Assist with mobility around the client’s home
  • Oversee medication and provide basic medical support when required
  • Manage household duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, and laundry
  • Prepare and cook nutritious meals
  • Run essential errands such as food shopping, prescription collection, or banking
  • Stay within a separate accommodation provided with access to TV and WiFi
  • Work a 10-hour shift per day, including a 2-hour break

Compensation & Conditions

  • Pay: £130 per day for a 10-hour working shift
  • Responsibilities: Must carry out live-in duties while residing with clients
  • Requirements:
    • Right to work in the UK
    • DBS enhanced disclosure check
    • References and a vetted interview process
  • Qualifications:
    • Previous experience caring for family members, volunteering, or in paid roles is essential
    • Enthusiasm for supporting others and delivering exemplary service
    • Reliability, trustworthiness, and professional respect are paramount
    • Ability to build rapport and enjoy companionship

Access Requirements

  • Must own a car, as this role requires some mobility for errands
  • Must have class 1 business insurance for the vehicle
