Live in Care Assistant

As a Live in Care Assistant, you’ll make a real difference every day by providing consistent care and supporting people to live well at home and stay independent. You’ll provide personalised support in short term placements for 2 weeks or long term, ongoing placements for up to 6 weeks, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and we’ll give you all the support and confidence you need to thrive.

What you'll do

  • Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
  • Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
  • Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
  • Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
  • Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
  • Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in care and skills in administering medication.
  • Ability to travel across England and Wales.
  • The Right to Work in the UK.
  • Comfortable with pets in the home and cooking meals.
  • A kind, adaptable, organised and people-first mindset.
  • Reliability, compassion, and the confidence to support others with dignity.
