About the Role
A lovely private family is seeking an experienced, warm and highly capable Live-In Housekeeper to become the primary member of staff within their household. Based in the beautiful Cotswolds (GL56), the family are currently living in a rental property while their new home is being refurbished, with the successful candidate required to work across two Cotswolds properties and occasionally assist at the family’s Notting Hill residence.
The household comprises of a couple, two teenagers and four dogs, so a genuine love of dogs and confidence with pet care are essential.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the smooth running and upkeep of the homes, including all housekeeping, laundry, caring for furniture and antiques, sewing and mending, household organisation and assisting with the youngest particularly around back to school routines. The ideal candidate will also be a good family cook, with culinary experience and confidence preparing meals and entertaining; experience with dinner parties would be a bonus. The family are looking for someone warm, discreet, proactive and flexible, who is happy to become part of the family.

Working Hours
The role is Monday to Friday, approximately 8am–6pm, with the occasional weekend, and flexibility to travel between the properties is essential.
Requirements
- A full driving licence is required and a car will be provided for work purposes.
Compensation
- Salary: £45k+ gpa depending on experience.
- Accommodation: Separate 1 bed gatehouse provided. Pets and partners are welcome.
Start Date
Role to commence as soon as the right candidate is found.
