Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny for a Family in Rumbling Bridge, Scotland
A lovely family of four based in the rural village of Rumbling Bridge, Scotland (KY13), are seeking an experienced, reliable, and caring Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household from October 2026.
Responsibilities
- Preparing breakfast
- Helping the children get ready
- Taking the 4-year-old girl to school and the 2-year-old boy to nursery
- General housekeeping duties throughout the day, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and maintaining the household
- Collecting the children from school and nursery
- Providing attentive childcare
- Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and following their established routines
- Preparing meals for the children and occasional family cooking for the family of four

Requirements
- A confident driver is essential; an own car is preferred, although the successful candidate may be able to be insured on the family car.
- A pet-friendly candidate is essential as the family have a cat and may get a dog in the future.

Accommodation
The successful candidate will have private, self-contained accommodation with its own entrance, bedroom, living room, bathroom, and kitchenette.
Hours
- Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional overnight stays, approximately once a fortnight.
- Hours: 7.30am–6.30pm
Salary
- £40k gross per annum, depending on experience.
