Live-in Nanny Opportunity in Barnet, London

We are seeking an exceptional, experienced and highly professional Live-in Nanny to join a lovely family in Barnet, London, caring for two children aged 8 and 3.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a warm, nurturing and genuinely passionate childcare professional who is highly organised, proactive, discreet and confident working within a fully staffed private household. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years’ professional nanny experience caring for both toddler and school-age children. They will have a strong understanding of child development, positive discipline and educational support, with the ability to provide a stimulating, structured and nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the children’s daily routines, school and nursery runs, meals, homework, bedtime and activities.
  • Planning and facilitating age-appropriate educational, creative and outdoor activities.
  • Supporting the children’s emotional, social and educational development.
  • Coordinating extracurricular activities, appointments and playdates.
  • Maintaining excellent organisation of their bedrooms, wardrobes, belongings and travel items.
  • Working closely and professionally with the parents, tutors, teachers, drivers and other household staff, maintaining impeccable standards of discretion, confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
  • Providing seamless care while travelling and adapting to changing schedules and family requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ professional nanny experience caring for both toddler and school-age children.
  • Strong understanding of child development, positive discipline and educational support.
  • Ability to provide a stimulating, structured and nurturing environment.
  • Paediatric first aid certification.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Arabic language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.

Working Pattern

  • 3-4 days per week working Thursday, Friday and Saturday, typically involving 12–14 hrs per day.
  • An additional day may be required so the candidate must be flexible.
  • Start time is approximately 7am and finish time is around 8:30pm.
  • Shared room provided whilst on duty.

Salary

  • £50k gpa depending on experience.

Start Date

Role is to commence as soon as the right candidate is found.
