Location: Highgate, North London
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Start: ASAP (although the family is happy to wait for the right candidate)
Accommodation (if live-in): Large private bedroom with en-suite bathroom
A warm and welcoming family of four is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Housekeeper to become a valued, long-term member of their household. This role can be offered on either a live-in or live-out basis for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully presented home and enjoys supporting busy family life. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within private households, possess exceptional attention to detail, and be confident managing a home independently.
Whilst the primary focus of the role is housekeeping, the family is looking for someone who is happy to assist with school runs, occasional cooking, and light childcare support as part of the daily routine. The family places great importance on finding someone who is warm, trustworthy, discreet, and naturally takes initiative, anticipating the household's needs before being asked.
Although a driving licence is preferred for the daily school runs, the family would happily consider an exceptional Housekeeper without a driving licence and make alternative arrangements for this aspect of the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
