Live-out Housekeeper in Holland Park, W11
We are seeking a discreet, experienced, and detail-oriented Live-out Housekeeper to join a private household in Holland Park, W11, working alongside an established household team. The successful candidate will be professional, self-motivated, and service-focused, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible, hands-on approach.
About the Role
The role will involve all aspects of housekeeping, including maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home, daily cleaning and scheduled deep cleaning, caring for luxury furnishings, materials, and finishes, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, making beds, and ensuring rooms are kept guest-ready.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and scheduled deep cleaning
- Caring for luxury furnishings, materials, and finishes
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Making beds and ensuring rooms are kept guest-ready
- Laundry, ironing, and pressing to a high standard
- Caring for delicate fabrics, fine garments, and formal wear
- Wardrobe organisation and maintenance
- General kitchen and household support
- Preparing simple home-style meals such as breakfast, lunch, and light dinner when required
- Maintaining an organised kitchen and fridge
- Checking food quality and expiry dates
- Grocery shopping both in-store and online
- Managing household provisions, pantry stock, and cleaning supplies
- Receiving and organising deliveries
- Answering the house doorbell and acting as a first point of contact for visitors and deliveries
- Carrying out appropriate checks before granting access
- Liaising with vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Household errands
- Handling petty cash and household purchases
- Maintaining the entrance, porch, terrace, and boot room
- Car cleaning
- Light maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs
- Assisting with seasonal and holiday-specific deep cleaning, including appliances, cupboards, ovens, bathrooms, utensils, pans, and silverware

Requirements
- The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively, communicating effectively with the house manager, principals, and other household staff and contributing positively to a respectful, team-focused environment.
- Discretion, confidentiality, professionalism, and a genuine service-first attitude are essential.
- A driver is preferred, particularly for grocery shopping, errands, and other household requirements.
- Flexibility is required for occasional weekend work, house sitting, or lock-up duties with prior notice, with time off in lieu provided for weekend work where applicable. Household requirements may vary seasonally, particularly during school holidays.

Working Hours
- Days: Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work as required and with prior notice.
- Hours: 8:30am–6:00pm, with a one-hour break during the day, which can be taken as one hour or split into 2 × 15-minute breaks and 1 × 30-minute break.
Salary
- £50–£55k gpa per annum, depending on experience.
Role to commence as soon as the right candidate is found.
