About the Company
The Wessex Mint is a British precious metals manufacturer. We cast, mint, engrave and pack gold and silver under our own roof in Dorset, then we sell it live on camera to a fast growing community of collectors. No middlemen, no drop shipping, no reselling somebody else's product. Our own metal, our own dies, our own shows.
We go live globally on TikTok Shop, Whatnot, eBay Live and our own platform, so you are never limited to one room, one algorithm or one audience.
Our buyers are spread across the world and the UK community is the one we built first.
About the Role
We are hiring the person who becomes the face of it. You go live, you talk gold and silver, you build a following that comes back every night, and you sell. That is the job. We teach you everything about the product. You bring the personality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Two shifts on a weekly rotation: 07:00 to 15:30 one week, 15:30 to midnight the next
- Eight hours live, plus a 30 minute break
- Fully remote, so your commute is the length of your hallway
Almost every live selling job in this industry eats your Saturdays and Sundays. This one does not.
What You Will Do
- Hosting live shows Monday to Friday across TikTok Shop, Whatnot, eBay Live and our own platform, selling gold, silver and collectibles in real time
- Building a community that turns up for you, not just for the deal
- Learning the product properly so you can answer a serious collector question without blinking
- Running the show floor: pace, energy, offers, banter, and closing
- Daily prep before you go on air and a short wrap after you come off
- Working with our campaign and creative team to sharpen the format week by week
- Feeding back what the audience is telling you, because you will hear it first
Requirements
- Someone who lights up on camera. Warm, quick, confident, hard to switch off

- Credibility. Our customers are spending real money on real bullion. You need to sound like someone they can trust
- Coachable. We review shows, we give direct feedback, and we expect you to want it
- Organised enough to run your own prep and admin without being chased
- No live selling experience required. We train you from scratch and pay you properly while we do it
