The Role:
At Novaro, our presenters are the face of our clients' live shopping shows — the person the audience sees, hears and responds to throughout the broadcast. You'll present live shopping shows for a range of well-known consumer brands, demonstrating products, answering viewer questions and turning audience interest into sales.
This isn't traditional presenting. Live shopping is fast-paced, conversational and led by what the audience is doing in the comments moment to moment — you'll work closely with the moderator and studio team to keep the show engaging, accurate and commercially effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Presenting duties are scheduled alongside briefings and post-live reviews
Pre Live
- Learn the products featured in the scheduled live, including key features, benefits, pricing and promotions
- Review the show run, live exclusives and any brand messaging or campaign objectives
- Prepare products and demonstrations alongside the moderator and studio team
- Check pronunciation of brand and product names
- Attend the pre-live brief and discuss key sales messages
- Be ready and on set ahead of the scheduled live start time

During the live
- Present the live confidently and naturally on camera
- Demonstrate products clearly, showing key features and benefits
- Communicate pricing, discounts, vouchers and promotional offers accurately
- Respond to viewer comments, questions and information passed on by the moderator
- Read notes typed to you on screen at all times and act on them
- Repeat pricing, offers and key product information regularly for viewers joining throughout the broadcast
- Recognise and respond to buying signals in the comments
- Create urgency around genuine live-only offers, flash sales and limited stock where applicable
- Introduce and transition between products smoothly, following the moderator’s lead
- Maintain energy and engagement across broadcasts that may run for several hours
- Follow brand guidelines and ensure any claim made about a product is accurate
- Handle unexpected moments, technical issues and quiet periods professionally
- Take direction from the moderator and production team without breaking the natural feel of the show

Post Live (>10 mins)
- Take part in the post-live feedback huddle with the moderator and production team
- Share feedback on products, demonstrations and recurring viewer questions
- Flag any product information or audience questions that need further clarification
- Identify opportunities to improve future broadcasts
