Internship · Minimum 6 months · At least 5 live streaming hours per week · On location in London
Turn London into live content.
City Explorer is looking for interns who can livestream the city’s streets, neighbourhoods, markets, food spots and everyday local life using a smartphone.
You can speak and interact with viewers, or livestream without talking while our moderators manage the live chat. You do not need to show your face.
What you will do
- Livestream interesting areas of London
- Plan walking routes and authentic local experiences
- Complete at least 5 hours of live streaming per week, spread across a regular weekly schedule
- Choose whether to speak with viewers or let our moderators handle the interaction
- Work with a coach to improve the quality of each stream
What we provide
- Free live streaming equipment
- Walking Explorers receive a gimbal stabiliser and microphone. Drivers and riders receive a GoPro setup. City Explorer merchandise is also provided.
- Training and ongoing support
- Learn how to plan routes, create engaging live content, manage unexpected situations and livestream confidently. A coach will monitor your streams, provide assistance and give regular feedback.
- Paid promotion
- We promote selected livestreams through sponsored campaigns and featured placement on the City Explorer platform, helping you reach real viewers.
- Audience tips
- Viewers can support you by sending tips during your livestreams.
- Internship certificate
- After successfully completing the internship, you will receive a City Explorer certificate confirming your training and live broadcasting experience.
- A creator portfolio
- Build practical experience, a collection of live content and an international audience around your city.

Who we are looking for


Get help with your application

- You live in London and know places beyond the usual tourist routes
- You are comfortable walking, driving or riding while live streaming safely
- You have a smartphone with a good camera and reliable mobile data
- You can commit to at least 5 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months
- You are dependable and able to follow a consistent weekly schedule
- Conversational English is preferred; additional languages are welcome
No previous live streaming experience, professional equipment, existing audience or on-camera appearance is required.
