West Kent | 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Great services aren't designed for people. They're designed with them.

The most meaningful change starts with listening.

At Change Grow Live, we're creating better futures by continuously evolving how we support people, communities and one another. As services change and technology develops, we want to ensure that the experiences, insights and ideas of the people who use our services remain at the centre of every decision we make.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Lived Experience and Insights Lead to help shape the future of our West Kent services. Someone who sees opportunity in every conversation, meaning in every experience and believes that listening well is one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting change.

This is a rare opportunity to influence service development, innovation and transformation while championing the voices of people whose experiences can help us become better, more responsive and more effective every day.

The Impact You'll Make

You won't simply gather feedback.

You'll uncover the stories, experiences and insights that help us understand what works, what matters most and where we can go further.

Working across West Kent, you'll build trusted relationships with people using our services, volunteers, peer mentors and recovery communities, creating opportunities for meaningful involvement and genuine co-production.

You'll connect the dots across services, identify emerging themes and translate lived experience into actionable insights that influence decision-making at every level. From service improvements and digital innovation to long-term transformation programmes, your work will help ensure people remain at the heart of change.

Working closely with our Strategic Improvement Manager and wider leadership teams, you'll help create a culture where curiosity, learning and continuous improvement thrive.

Who You Are

You believe that the people closest to services often hold the most valuable perspectives.

You're naturally curious, an exceptional listener and someone who enjoys exploring challenges from different angles. You know how to create conversations that make people feel heard, valued and empowered to contribute.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You may have developed your experience through engagement, co-production, quality improvement, research, community development, service development or lived experience leadership. However you got here, you're passionate about creating positive change through partnership, collaboration and innovation.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a talent for bringing people together around shared goals.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and translating insights into practical recommendations.
  • A collaborative mindset and an ability to influence through relationships rather than hierarchy.
  • Curiosity, creativity and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking.

  • The ability to work independently while remaining connected to a wider team and shared vision.
  • Flexibility to travel across West Kent and work across multiple service locations.

Whether your ambitions lie in service transformation, organisational development, programme leadership, quality improvement or senior management, this role offers a unique platform to build experience, expand your influence and accelerate your professional development.

Why Change Grow Live?

The best insight doesn't sit in a report.

It lives in conversations, experiences and perspectives that can transform how services are designed and delivered.
