About the Company

An innovative Ag Tech company developing smart livestock monitoring technology that provides farmers with accurate, individual animal data. Its solutions improve herd performance, animal welfare, and productivity. With ambitious growth plans, the business is expanding into new markets while developing next-generation technologies to support more sustainable and data-driven livestock farming.

About the Role

Become a trusted partner to livestock farmers, helping them harness innovative technology to improve herd performance, productivity, and profitability. As the Livestock Business Development Manager, you will drive sales growth across Scotland and the North of England by developing new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with livestock farmers through a consultative, on-farm approach.

Managing the entire customer journey, you will introduce farmers to the technology, oversee on-farm installations, and provide ongoing support to ensure they achieve maximum value from their investment. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll be equally comfortable building commercial relationships and installing equipment on farms.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
