An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to join the Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) team in NHS Grampian as a Family Nurse Supervisor.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated practitioner to contribute to a high-performing, well-established team delivering the Family Nurse Partnership programme across a diverse and geographically large area.

Role

As a Family Nurse Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and line management to Family Nurses, supporting the delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based programme to young families. You will play a key role in maintaining programme fidelity, supporting professional development, and ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.

This post will be based in Huntly, supporting presence across Aberdeenshire and Moray, while working closely with the wider Grampian FNP team.

The Team

You will be joining a highly skilled, supportive, and well-established team, recognised for its collaborative approach and commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for children and families. The team works closely with a range of partners across health, social care, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to Family Nurses
  • Support staff development, reflective practice, and performance
  • Maintain programme fidelity in line with FNP national requirements
  • Contribute to service improvement and quality assurance
  • Work collaboratively with partners across the system

Requirements

Due to the geographical spread of NHS Grampian, this role will involve a high level of travel across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Moray. Flexibility and the ability to work across different localities are essential.
