B6 Physiotherapist Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a B6 Physiotherapist to join the existing team within the Community Rehabilitation service within Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership. The post would be static, with the hours equally split between Inverurie and Banff in the community hospital and domiciliary settings, however the post holder would have to demonstrate flexibility in being able to support other community physiotherapy bases in Aberdeenshire as service need required.
About the Role
We are looking for a suitably experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to work in this area. The post holder will be expected to undertake specific specialist Physiotherapy assessment and interventions for patients in a variety of settings including community hospital, domiciliary and Pulmonary Rehabilitation services. Availability of a car for work purposes and a valid UK driving license is essential for this post.
Key Responsibilities
- Work autonomously and experience a varied and extensive community rehabilitation caseload.
- Deliver pulmonary rehabilitation classes.
- Work alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team, other physiotherapists and HCSW’s in the delivery of patient-centred interventions.
- Work independently and in partnership with multi-agency and third sector services.
- Work within the physiotherapy community rehabilitation team alongside the physio team lead, Band 7, B6, B5, and B4 & B3 HCSWs.
- Have supervisory and educational responsibilities for Rotational B5’s, HCSW and students.

Aberdeenshire is a beautiful part of Scotland in which to live and work. It has many pursuits for the outdoor enthusiast and has excellent opportunities for water activities along the scenic coastline, walking, mountain biking, road cycling etc.
