Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About The Role

We are looking for a Senior LNG Reporter to join our editorial team in London as the primary market reporter covering European LNG and shipping markets. Gas and LNG markets will develop ever greater relationships over the coming years, both within the market and as ICIS products. This European role would sit at the heart of this, connecting market feedback to energy squad conversations, to LNG and gas forecasts, and to inform direction on what data and intelligence our customers need most. The role requires ongoing engagement with European LNG market sources, supporting sales calls and client visits, and close communication with ICIS chemicals and fertilizer teams who require intelligence around pricing and fundamentals given Europe’s growing gas import dependency. The role also covers broad regions and themes, including African and Shipping LNG markets. Both play important roles in delivering compelling LNG Insight, with daily shipping intelligence feeding directly into the coverage and accuracy of ICIS LNG analytics.
